Don’t Know What the Future Will Bring . . . .

Hi 806, I hope you are finding highschool challenging, exciting, engaging and awesomely FUN!  I wanted to forewarn you that as September ends, the subscription for this website will expire.   I know that you are getting busier and busier with homework and meeting new friends, and with the “traffic” on this site declining, I thought that this would be an appropriate time to stop paying for this site.  I don’t know how it will look once the subcription ends and what will happen to the content of the site.  I guess we will find out soon enough.  I will focus my full attention to the new site and to my new class.  I think if you were in my current class’ position, you would want me to make the same decision.  Please feel free to check out the new site as Mr. Windover, Mr. McCready, Mr. Bermonte and I will continue to record musical podcasts.  We will always be committed to supporting you and encouraging you to do your best.  You know where to find us.

New iPod

I got the new 3rd generation iPod Touch (32G).  It was released on Friday, I ordered it from the Apple Website on Saturday and I just got it delivered yesterday.  What kind of APPS should I download?  806 HelpDesk, HELP!

Bonus Tracks!

Da Thr33 T’ez have been experimenting with GarageBand over the past month.  Tonight, we completed 2 very familiar songs.  These songs have multiple tracks including; acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, cymbals, grand piano, electric piano, organ, trumpets (I had my friend Mr. Donald come over and record 3 separate trumpet parts), vocals and harmony vocals.  This has been a labour of love and reflects many hours of work.  We hope you enjoy our “studio versions” of these 2 classic songs!

Our last vidcast of the summer!  Da Thr33 T’ez perform the #1 hit “All You Need is Love” by the Beatles. The Beatles performed this song live with an orchestra on the FIRST worldwide satellite broadcast in history. Also, pay close attention to Mr. Uyeda’s trumpet playing at the beginning of the song.
We’ve had a lot of fun playing songs for you during the school year and the summer. Best of luck in grade 9! Be sure to come and visit!

Video Game Review – Wii Sports Resort

Hi 806, I’m trying to learn more about what the Apple program GarageBand can do.  I’ve created a podcast with sound effects and images, as well as our Falcon’s Perch logo that should display in iTunes, or on your iPod if you choose to download it, or simply onscreen if you click on the link.  Let me know if it works, I know I tried to do this in May and it didn’t work.  Good Luck!

Band of the Day (Special Summer Edition) – The Beatles Part 12

Hey 806!  We hope you are having a great summer holiday.   Da Thr33 T’ez present one of George Harrison’s finest contributions to the Beatles, “Something” – a moving love song.  Some say that this one has been played more times by other artists than any other Beatles song! Enjoy!   http://www.mediafire.com/?zyyk3u2fuhj

Band of the Day (Special Summer Edition) – The Beatles Part 11

Da Thr33 T’ez perform “Real Love“, originally recorded as a demo by John Lennon.  When the Beatles Anthologies were released in 1996, the “Threetles” (George, Paul, and Ringo) reunited to record their instruments and voices over top of John’s original demo track.  The result is a magical reincarnation of the Fab Four after 25 years.  Take note of our special guest performer near the end of the song.
